Kilwins started in Petoskey, Michigan in 1947 — Don and Katy Kilwin running a bakery that turned into a confectionery. Now there's a few hundred of them across the country, all making fudge on marble slabs and ice cream in-store the way they did 78 years ago. This one's in Saugatuck. Get an ice cream, a square of fudge, whatever else looks good in the window.
Quintessential Americana summer vibes.
