Eaux-Vives
East of the lake. The park, the quays, the Jet d'Eau at the end of the street. A neighbourhood people actually live in.

Getting there Trams 2 & 6, bus 9 — Eaux-Vives

The right bank neighbourhood east of the lake. Quieter than the centre, more residential, better for a long afternoon. The Jet d'Eau is visible at the end of half the streets. The quais along the lake are worth the walk in either direction.

Parc La Grange is here — probably the most beautiful park in Geneva, with the old villa, the rose garden and uninterrupted views across to the Alps. And Galerie 1 2 3 on the main street has one of the best collections of vintage Swiss posters you'll find anywhere.
