Pâquis neighbourhood, Geneva — crowd at the square

Pâquis
Geneva's most international neighbourhood. The lake, the bains, everything open late.
City Geneva, Switzerland
Tips 2
Getting there Trams 12, 25 — Môle or Monthoux

The neighbourhood between the station and the lake on the right bank. The most international part of Geneva — every language, every flag, everything open later than anywhere else in the city. It has a reputation, which is fair but incomplete.

The Bains des Pâquis is here, on the jetty that juts out into the lake. And Nagomi — quietly, without any fuss — is running the best sushi restaurant in Geneva a few streets back. These two things alone are worth knowing about.
