The Kunsthalle Bern is a contemporary art space across the river, worth going to for whatever is on. But the reason to know about it regardless of the programme is the café — a white modernist box that cantilevers out over the trees above the Aare, half indoors, half out. A dope spot for a coffee or a drink.
A room suspended in the trees above the Aare. Bern doesn't get enough credit.
