Small room. That window. Tokyo stretching all the way to the Skytree.

Hotel Century
Southern Tower

Two-day layover en route to the Philippines. No idea how we ended up here — I think someone found it online and we just went with it. It was the right call.

The room is small, but everything is perfectly laid out the way Japanese hotel rooms tend to be — nothing wasted, nothing missing. The window makes the whole thing feel twice the size. Shinjuku Gyoen directly below, Tokyo Skytree on the horizon. You sit there with a coffee and watch the city wake up. Also: the Japanese toilet. Obviously.

Super central, great view, no reason to keep searching. Just book this place — there's no chance it doesn't work for you.

The move Request a high floor. Sit by the window in the morning. Don't overthink the Tokyo hotel search.
