If you work near the UN you already know the problem — there is almost nothing good to eat in this neighbourhood unless you're a senior diplomat with two hours and an expense account. Empanadas Factory is one of the exceptions.
Grab empanadas on the way out if you're in a rush. But if you have 25 francs and want to sit down and eat something properly, get the Beef Boliviano — steak and egg on rice with fries, the whole thing. Décor is full Saved by the Bell. It works.
The real move is the sauce picante — a little orange salsa they make in house. You have to ask for it. Don't forget to ask for it.
