Nice sandwich place — boulangerie — a short walk from the UN. They do chocolate breads, quiche, good pastries. But get a sandwich. The roast beef is one of the best in the neighbourhood, which admittedly doesn't have many options, but that's exactly the point — this one is genuinely good.

Take it across the street to Parc Vermont. Sit on the grass. Eat in the sun. Watch the UN building loom in the background. Under 10 francs. It's one of the better lunches available around here.

Good chocolates and bread too if you want to take something back to the office.
