Midtown is a nightmare, but this place is a dream. Tucked into one of those strange alleyways Midtown apparently has, sort of an outdoor street that also feels like a covered tunnel, is a beautiful brasserie with one of the nicest zinc bars I’ve seen in a while.
Grab a beer, order something from the raw bar, or get a table and settle in for a meal. The food is classic French brasserie fare: good, but not life-changing. That’s not really why you’re here. You’re here because it’s an oasis of good aesthetics in the heart of Midtown, and most people walk straight past it.
