Geneva’s best new café. Immaculate aesthetic, good coffee, tasty cakes and excellent people-watching. Sit outside, or grab a flat white to go and stroll through Parc des Bastions across the street. Above all, they have a very cool logo.
Culture
Definitely the best movie theater in central Geneva. I live around the corner and didn't even know it was there until a few days ago. When you walk into the Confederation Center just go down those stairs and you're at the movies. There's a place to drinks and snacks popcorn etc, also a bar. Proper sized movie screens, a real movie theater experience in the heart of Geneva. I know nobody goes to the movies anymore, but if you do find yourself wanting to actually go to a movie and live in Geneva, this is the spot.
Thing
Final tip, fire up your phone's hot spot, find a nice bench looking at the lake, and just do your stuff there. Not great for longer than like 20 mins, but still a solid option.

Nations · Best for working without guilt Inside the Graduate Institute’s Maison de la Paix, this is the practical answer for anyone working around the UN, ICRC or international quarter. It is designed for students and policy people carrying laptops, so nobody will glare at you for opening one. There are proper tables, inexpensive cafeteria food and enough institutional energy to make answering emails feel vaguely consequential. It is particularly useful between meetings or when you need somewhere near the UNHCR office to finish something before going home. Good for: Long sessions, work between meetings and pretending your emails are advancing international peace
