Why I like it

I don't know why I liked this place so much, but as an American living in Europe, who was in Chicago, and needed to get some food for his family, stumbling into this place and drinking a beer while I waited for my food to be ready was a really enjoyable 15 min. The American Brasserie in general is an underrated institution, and this place does it well. Life is good if you have a place like The Smith within walking distance from your house.
