A spot for the shutterbugs Nice place to get your film developed or buy a new roll. These guys are photo experts. There's also a cool looking cafe across the street that I didn't go to, but my gut said would be nice.
Other
Go for a stroll, buy a cool hat, have an iced coffee. This might be the only walkable area of Bangkok that I saw. It’s a popular spot, kind of like the Abbot Kinney of Bangkok. A great place to stroll, check out cool shops, have an iced coffee, and then get back to your hotel pool.
Restaurant
The grilled squid was good, and they just keep your beer glass full. Great Thai/Chinese restaurant focused on seafood. A friend who grew up here took us so of course that counts for something. Everything, really. Get a ton of stuff whatever looks good, big prawns, the whole fish was good, and just order your beer and they will keep refilling your glass, incredible service. This isn't the instagram hot spot but if you want a real meal at a real restaurant that real people go to, this is the place.
Hotel
The small toasted coconuts at breakfast are the best thing I’ve ever had. Great hotel, center of Bangkok. Big pool, comfortable beds.
