Manor is the best grocery in the city. Great fishmonger with fresh seafood, also good meat and cheese and bread. And it's a department store — so if you need a pair of shoes, a gift, a watch, a kitchen knife, or something for the house, you're already there. Efficient Geneva errand running. The fishmonger gets fera from Lake Geneva. Lot's of local produce here, wine, cheese, veggies, etc.
Tip
Geneva’s best pint of Guinness. Creamy, properly poured and the real thing. Get a bag of salt-and-vinegar crisps with it. Inside, it’s a classic cosy Irish pub: dark wood, sport on the telly, the kind of place that feels the same in every city and is somehow always exactly right. Outside, the tables are great for people-watching thanks to the steady foot traffic from Manor across the street, which is rarer in Geneva than you might think.
